This is a heads up for the timetable collectors here. New Jersey Transit issued new schedules for all eight lines effective November 6, 2011. The Main Line/Bergen County Line Schedule (Form R0020) is in effect from 11/6/11 to 11/27/11. A new schedule will go into effect on November 28, 2011 when through service to Port Jervis is resumed.
Metro-North has also issued a new schedule for the Port Jervis Line effective from 11/6/11 through 11/27/11. It is sub-titled "Post Storm Interim Service." This timetable lists the current combined train and bus service and its done it large print. It does not include the Pascack Valley Line trains and that's the interesting part. For the first time Metro-North has issued a purely Pascack Valley Line schedule effective November 6, 2011. Like the Port Jervis schedule its done in orange and white and it carriers the annotation that it will be in effect duirng the reconstruction of the Port Jervis Line. Both the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley schedules are available at Grand Central Terminal.
