The new schedule is here: http://shorelineeast.com/images/docs/SL ... pr18R5.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Train 1602 is gone from the schedule. Trains 1604, 1622,1632, 1638, 1646, 1656, 1621, 1627, 1645, 1649, 1671, 1681, 1687, and 1697 are buses. Train 1691 is running 20-25 minutes later, and Trains 1616, 1636, and 1651 are being held for 10-15 minutes at the Guilford siding to accommodate passing Amtrak trains.

The construction schedule will not end until after the service cuts go into effect, so April 20 was the last day that multiple SLE trains ran.

A revised schedule is out. This one makes a lot of changes on the weekends too, but a few weekday trains are back.

1646, 1668, 1681, and 1697 are back to being trains again, but 1668 is a bus, along with the friday only trains. 1636, 1651, and 1616 do not have delays in Guilford any more.

On the weekends, 3604 is now a half-hour later, 3034 now connects to 6536 and leaves at 4:50, 3638 is now at 5:56, and then just 24 minutes later, 3042 leaves at 6:20. 3658 is a 10:40 now. Going southbound, 3629 connects to the 12:25 now, 3653 is 40 minutes earlier, 3661 is 40 minutes later, and 3673 is nearly an hour later.

FYI- All trains on the NEC Between Boston and Philadelphia run East-West.

Now this isn't so bad! We get a roughly every half hour frequency, with trains at 5:11, 5:39, 6:16, 6:46, and 7:15 in my hometown of Madison. The AM peak schedule is basically the same, with a few early trains running a few minutes earlier. I don't know what they were thinking with trains leaving Saybrook at 4:30, 6:20, and 6:32, but I won't go on about that. The scheduled durations are slightly lengthened, but nothing bad.

The weekend schedule is more or less the same going south, every two hours mostof the day. You have a huge 3 hour gap between the 6:25 and 9:25 trains, though.

Clinton is getting upgraded starting this year with a north side platform and an up&over. Bid was released either late last year or early this year.
Madison is the only other station with a south-side only platform. No date on a bid advertisement for that project yet.

Considering that Madison gets far higher ridership, they should have a high-level platform on the north side. Only reason Clinton was done first was because of the parking lot on the other side of the tracks instead of woods and marshes.
