Sources of mine inside MNRR told me that contractors have started mobilizing on site this week for the next phase of the Harmon Shop modernization project.
This will include the demolition of the "spotting tracks" and the next three most eastern shop tracks in Building 6, the original shop building.

The project will build a new addition, similar to the new Buildings 3 and 4 (locomotive and coach shops), which will allow safe working areas around full 10-car sets, including inspection pits, platform and roof level catwalks.
I'm not sure, but I believe this project will also renovate much of the rest of the interior of Building 6.
