Drop off and pickup only. (Parking is not available at Bourne Station).
Accessible: Yes, ADA Compliant
Bike Spaces: None

No bike parking?? Why not?
And why is the photographer calling Bourne Station "Aptucxet Station"?

It appears to be a local name for the neighborhood. Clearly, the photographer didn't bother to find out what the railroad was actually calling the station.

According to information on Facebook, the sign comes from the Aptuxcet Road bridge located about a mile away and was at some point relocated to the location of the bridge.

Does anybody know if there is Cape Flyer ridership tracking by station ? I have only found yearly overall statistics so far. Also there are bike racks at the Bourne station parking area, which have always been there.

The Aptucxet Trading Post Museum is just down the road, and includes the Gray Gables train station which was moved there in 1977. Gray Gables was built for President Grover Cleveland to use when he visited his summer home. Wikipedia lists the Old Colony train stations in Bourne at the time of the New Haven lease, and even lists the original names of those stations. So, maybe the train station is in the Aptucxet neighborhood or something, but I think the name specifically applies to the trading post (which has been re-created on it's original foundation!!!) and that's not where the train station is.

Was over in Buzzards Bay this morning and noticed a small size CCRTA bus stopping for picking up /dropping off passengers at Buzzards Bay station with a destination posted Falmouth Mall. With the opening of the Bourne station on the Cape side under the bridge, looks like this is a waste of transportation as it should be picking up /dropping passengers off there. Checked CCRTA bus routes and it doesn't appear to be a local separate route that includes meeting the Cape Flyer. I was behind the bus and it went over the bridge headed for Falmouth with no passengers on board. Photo of the Cape Flyer included crossing the new Cohasset narrows bridge while still having final detail work being done on site.

Looks like a driver error. The CapeFlyer website says that the CCRTA bus to the Falmouth Mall was scheduled to start its run today at 9:25am from the new Bourne station stop, not Buzzards Bay.

Or maybe the CCRTA sent a bus to Buzzard's Bay in case anyone got confused and didn't understand about the new station, and just got off where they got off last year.

Also, probably no bike parking because they didn't want to install bike racks (serpentine or similar racks set in concrete -- not too expensive but not nothing) only to take them out if the station succeeds and they build something more permanent? And they don't want people chaining their bikes to the posts on the ramp.

I'm for adding another frequency on Friday. An earlier mid-to-late afternoon departure. Is there equipment available in the current roster for such?
