Here's one from the cab of an RS-3 heading east somewhere past Riverhead.
Oddly enough, this picture was taken using an old E-4 process Ektachrome with a 126 cartridge film Kodak "Instamatic"camra. Must have been before or during 1972 as I got my first 33mm camera in late 1972. I am glad to have re-found it
Enjoy.

That somewhere looks a lot like Jamesport, just east of "R" block limit.

Thank you Jay. It has been well over 30 years since i have took that picture. Is it still the same out there?

The freight house shown was ripped up about 7 years ago. There was not much left to it anyway, and from this picture, there may not have been much left of it then either!

The two switches ahead of the engine have also been removed. The property which the switch to the south faces has recently had housing built on it.

The old low-level platform remains, although I believe it last was used in 1963.
