Saw TC 82 westbound at Brentwood today. Any ideas what they were up to? Passed about 10:30 then on the same track eastbound RS 70 at 10:41 out of Pine Aire.

TC-82 is a Track Geometry Track car, built by Plasser, may have been making a test pass on the tracks behind the freight or on the move to a test
location.
Has been shared with MN in the past, and works with the Sperry car at times, when testing before and after major trackwork sessions on LIRR.
