A quick scan of the Service alerts doesn't show any cancelations at this point of time.
Word is out that the Cascades are also effected by the Blockades,CN shutdown and VIA lockout by CN.

Due to ongoing operational issues on the host railroad, Adirondack Trains 69, 68 will terminate/ originate in Albany (ALB)/ Plattsburgh (PLB) respectively. Alternate transportation for Train 68 Montreal (MTR) to PLB, not stopping at St. Lambert (SLQ). No alternate for Train 69.

As of today 69 will terminate in Albany and 68 will start out of Albany until further notice, no alternate transportation available. aka the Canadian Govt fixes the issues with the indigenous peoples

Someone isn't thinking here.

Sounds like a good opportunity to try running the CPR route to Lucien-L'Allier

They couldn't add an engine on the rear at Albany and do pull-pull service to Plattsburg?

Sure, but you could probably count the number of people on one hand that have ever said, "I want to go to Plasttsburg in the winter!"

Not worth the cost of the fuel.

While CP might be less hamstrung by the blockades, they do not play nice with VIA.
Also CP has no clear shot into Montreal Central station, from the border with the US.

It is not only Plattsburg that is being denied service. There are seven other stations in NY between Albany and Rouses Point.
The Anniversary cabbage #406 seems to have been assigned to Downeaster service for the last several months. That could be
reassigned to the Adirondack service.

The idea was floated in Albany but denied as for CP Ive been told there is a 20 ft pile of snow at the Sealand bridge PLUS CP is pretty much shut down in eastern Ont. There are cars about 800 or so that need to go north plus roughly 1000 that need to come south. Nothing moves until the first peoples tribes clear the tracks.

Amtrak.com shows #69 is running to Montreal on 2/19. Amtrak #68 will run from Montreal on 2/20.
