Not much detail I’m afraid: ProgressiveRailroading.com
• up to $6,363,000 for the New York State Department of Transportation's plan to replace timber bridge decks with ballast decks on three bridges on the Hudson Line in New York
Next stop, Willoughby

If it’s NYSDOT’s work, it’s on Amtrak’s portion of the Hudson Line, not MNR.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure MNR replaced all its timber deck bridges with ballast deck bridges on the Hudson ages ago.
