Awhile back while looking in the Model Railroad and Railroad Model Magazines I saw adds for 4x8 trainsets that come with scenry, buildings, vehicles, bridges, water ,etc of a time frame and setting of your choice. But you have to put it all together but it came with all the parts. At the end you 5x8 ft set would be ready to come on line but you would have to add the rolling stock So which one is bettter?

I want to have soemthing this simple and give it as a gift to a family member who loves trains but doesn't have time shopping for different HO-Sale stuff for a 4x8 set. Something simple yet so easy would be nice.

Thanks
