signal trainee

i passed the signal trainee test and the background check had my interview in febuary in white plains but have not heard back yet is this common? any advice would be appreciated. thanks

What railroad if you don't mind me asking? I'm guessing MTA/Metro North?

yes metro north westchester new york. have a friend who works there. he contacted my interviewer and said they were happy and going to contact me but that was almost three weeks ago just a little nervous do not want to jinx my self.

Your fine, these railroads, and I mean ALL these railroads work the SAME way, SLOWLY. I can't tell you how bazaar they do things when it comes to hiring. I tested 4 months ago for a commuter railroad but missed on the math part by 6 dang questions. They said in 90 days you can retest if you send in the original test results but haven't heard a thing yet. I will call them this week. Good luck to you.

so i called hr they got back to me saying that i am still be considered for future classes. i guess that is better than being told your out. thanks for your advice
