Metro North custodian hiring process

I was wondering if anyone knew how long the hiring process is for the Metro North custodian position. I interviewed back in November of 2018 and havent heard back. Should I try to contact them or wait it out. Thanks

usually they give you that info when you get interview.

Unfortunately, there is now a hard freeze on hiring at all MTA agencies, implemented in mid December. If the position is not critical to operation of trains/buses, and you didn’t have a start date already in hand, the hiring may have been canceled. Whether they will pick up where they left off when/if the freeze is lifted, and call in those who were already in process, I don’t know.
