-All Reserved Steam Charter from New Hope to Ivyland-
Saturday September 22, 2012
Departure 10:30AM – Return 3:00 PM from New Hope Station

On the first day of autumn, join the Southampton Railroad Station Society for a rare steam excursion to Ivyland, PA powered by the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad’s Philadelphia built #40 Baldwin Locomotive. Bring your cameras to partake in several photo runbys over the Neshaminy Creek, None Such Farms and the historic Hobensack’s Mill in Ivyland, PA. This is the trip for Reading Railroad and steam enthusiasists. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to ride the Reading as it was in the 1920’s through scenic Bucks County. This train will operate rain or shine

Tickets are $44.95 and can be purchased online or through a mail order form. Box lunches available.

I'm told following the trip, riders will also be treated to a tour of NHIR's shops.
