If you type the following address into google maps you will find where it crosses Baltimore Pike in Pennsbury, PA, just north of Chadds Ford, PA.

2 Baltimore Pike, Pennsbury, PA

If you follow it up north runs into a rather large freight station. It appears to be active because there is a few cars that are kept along Fairville avenue and sometimes on the other side of the pike behind to school.

Its the old Reading Wilmington and Northern Branch. Going north, it will take you up to the old Lukens Steel Plant that is still up and running. the line runs through the steel mill and ends just before route 340. There is a ramp that drops down for Amtraks Keystone line to allow Norfolk Southern to enter the mill.

Heading south from route 1, it enters the CSX Yard in Elsmere Delaware. The line also connects to the old Pennsylvania Octoraro line just south of route 1. This line is active, I believe it is operated by East Penn Railways.
