Bob, Why are 6-axle units are forbidden to enter customer sidings along the Beesleys Point Secondary?

Less chance of derailing because of the tight radius.

Agreed, this rule in effect on many secondary lines; also on the CR Southern Secondary in central NJ.

Looks like a NS 502 snuck by just about everyone. Reported past Tuckahoe at 8:58.

The Southern RR of NJ delivered a stone train to the Winslow Hot Mix plant this morning.

Power for the move was SRNJ 3578(M420), SRNJ 800(M420), SRNJ 102(GP10), and SRNJ 803(M420W).

Only the IP (International Paper) siding in Barrington has that issue with the curve being too tight for 6 axles...

Hey Mitch, thanks! Caught them by pure luck. As I was driving down there, I was calling myself an idiot for wasting the time and gas before work as I wasted 2-3 other trips down there for nothing this year. Paid off this time.

SMS Rail Lines SLRS #2003 (former Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines GP38 #2003) is operational again and is working Pureland Industrial Park in Bridgeport, NJ. The unit was working in their Voorheesville, NY division before the prime mover failed and was sent to Bridgeport for a re-build back in March of 2011.
