I feel like they along with the ticket checkers also escalated the situation be refusing to look at the ticket closer / validating it and simply telling this guy you can't board. Go to the ticket counter and get a new ticket. Faded passes cannot be reissued once the next month sales have started.

The rail train worked the Western Route, Gloucester Branch, and Boston Terminal dropping spot sections. It is now headed on the Worcester Line. I am not sure if that's where it will finish up.
