I suppose they are the same pans that are on the ALP45DP. It must be fully raised or locked down, since the legs don't equalize. Useless under wire.

I was told today that 4020 will be the first PL to be sent out for overhaul.Don't know when, or where.

Occasionally gets dragged into the shop when a part is needed to be stripped off. With Alstom out of the locomotive business, there's no one left who knows how to make a new nose.

My only gripe is that the pantograph must be all the way up, or down and locked,
