In the video of the Atlantic Ave. branch that Vince supplied the link to, check out 4:54 - the provision for a possible connection to the Franklin and Brighton lines of the NYC Subway; 14:53 - the former connection to the Rockaway Beach branch; 15:00 - the former Woodhaven station.

Also, they should have widened the Nassau Blvd. underpass to 2 lanes in each direction. Why continue the bottleneck. It's stupid, if you ask me.

Does anyone know if the roadway under the new 3 track Denton Ave./Tanners Pond Rd. overpass going to be widened to more than the one lane it currently is?

I just saw the new bridge next to the Merillon Ave. parking lot. It didn't seem that long so I guess they're not going to increase the road from 2 lanes to 4 under the bridge. Two years ago the Circus Train came through Nassau Blvd. station about 2:30. I think everyone was expecting it earlier, but it was delayed a bit for one reason or another.
