Re: B&M F7A 4265

Hi All, wondering if there has been any further action on 4265. I was last in Gorham 2 years ago, and she was looking pretty much the same. Wonderful work going on with 4268 over in North Conway! Hoping to see her running with her sister 4266 next year at Railfan's Weekend! Wondering what they will ...

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

Not frequently to my knowledge, no. The 573 is the primary power for the Valley train, and 252 and 216 are typically on the Notch Train. 4266 and 1751 are back-ups, and they use the RDC (Millie) during lighter times, like when the RR opens for the season. The 4268 is in the process of getting road-r...

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

On Saturday, for Railfans day, the Valley Train featured 4266 on one end and 573 on the other. It was just for the day, and was back to just 573 on Sunday. I saw a picture of 4266 leading a consist on nerail. The consists had engines on each end. Does CSRR not do the runaround at Conway or Bartlett ...

How was the freight run yesterday? I heard trespassers had to be reported at Glen Ellis.
I wasn't on it, and didn't hear about any trespassing. I saw it several times at the station and got some nice video. It looked awesome. I'll post a link once I get to editing.

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

There is the steam special to Hazens on 9/1, that was already put out at least a month ago. You could always call them, instead of asking someone who doesn't work for them, and hasn't been directly involved with the steam program for over a decade. Hi All, I contacted them 2 weeks ago, and they sai...

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

Hi Everyone, do any of you know when the schedule for Railfan's Weekend will be out? I want to get tickets, but only see the regular runs online. Sorry if I missed something. The site still says the schedule will be published shortly. Thanks!

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

Thanks for the video of the freight extra. Priceless stuff and remarkable for it's "period" authenticity. The whole event was very well done by the crew. My only regret in filming is that I didn't hit "record" for the actual offloading of the "freight" into the milk truck. I looked down after and s...

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

Here are my videos from this year's Railfan's Weekend (Saturday only). Included are the freight extra, and the demonstrations they did at Conway. Some views from the cupola of the caboose as well. Also got some nice footage of the photo runby on Moat Trestle. Got some footage of the Valley Train wit...

Re: Conway Scenic Railroad (CSRX) discussion thread

Saw the RDC parked next to the platform track on Saturday afternoon (after 4) and again Sunday. Not sure if she left the yard, but could have earlier in the day on Sat. She didn't run at all. Sat in place. There was supposed to be an 8:30am trip to Redstone and other areas, but it was scrapped when...
