That was actually NS GE ES44AC 8132. It was wrecked in a head-on collision that occurred in Washington County, Georgia on August 7th, 2015. Yes, the 33 stands for 3,000 horsepower, Tier 3 compliant. Similarly, the GP22ECO units are 2,000 horsepower and Tier 2 complaint.

NS 3422 is former Conrail 6516 and was built in November 1979:
