That's not supposed to happen -- need a Type-8 for ADA.

When I posted that photo to facebook, A Mr Murphy responded,

"They are allowed to run two type 7's together if the headways are short enough . There may be other reasons too."

Nice photo. I operated those beginning in 1986 when they were new. For those of you too young to have been there, this is how good they looked back then.

Right now I’m on 3694 (one of the newest rebuilds) and I’ve noticed that the cell phone sticker in the cab has been relocated to above the windshield, below where the train number stickers are in the cab. I noticed the same thing on 3681 recently. Also, the door chimes are slightly higher pitched.

3710 is prep to ship now, leaving 3 more 3700s in service. 3708 is the only Type 7 left with the teal and green scheme.

3708 was recently pulled from service, which was the last teal and grey Type 7 in service. The only two original 3700s left now are the Lyft cars (3701 & 3704).
