Ukrainian Order Of New Units At Erie

Postby XC Tower » Tue Aug 14, 2018 3:08 pm

Saw one of these on the GE Test Track in Harborcreek, PA, on Saturday....Compared to the three North American units that was coupled to, this locomotive was much shorter in height....Everything else looked like it was scaled down....The cab sure is different looking...
What are the specs. On these units plus how many are on order?
Thank you.

Includes all of the Baltic countries that were former Soviet states, as well as the "Stans"

Ukraine is a former Russian State hence 5'

interesting that GE units built for broader gauge (India, Ukraine) are all smaller in dimension vs the domestic units. I thought the former Soviet republics all had pretty large loading gauges.
