CNJ in Easton cleaned up?

Postby carajul » Tue Jul 31, 2018 1:05 am

Just doing some google satelite surfing. Noticed that the CNJ from P'burg a few miles into Easton looks cleared and new ballast? Last time I was there it was in the middle of the forest and you couldn't even see the rails. Any news on what's going on? It doesn't look like those spurs at the industrial complex of buildings along the river in Easton are used.

I'm pretty sure the BRW serves a customer over in West Easton occasionally (tank cars?). IIRC, they are on the old CNJ side, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was some spot maintenance related to that.
