The last two pics posted were outstanding! Both would make great magazine covers.

As far as Woodhaven traffic, when the building boom ends in Lakewood, we might revert back to the days of one or two cars on the SA31. I remember seeing two locos running through Farmingdale with one car in tow.
Tonight's forecast - dark. Followed by scattered light in the morning.

If building falls off..ud prob still have 5 or 6 woodhavens a week, plus 2-3 cars for other industries...so in general ud have 6-10 car trains, and 1 engine...

Lined and locked normal 3:44pm
It doesn't matter which side of the tracks you're from, the train still rolls the same.

Would anyone be interested in a sort-of Southern Secondary Railfest/Railfan Day? I just thought of the idea all willy-nilly and it seems quite feasible now . . .

Well Erik, my "Partner in crime" for this event, suggested a date closest to June 21st, and I thought the 27th, since we and hopefully anybody else would be out of school by then. Plus, we would get the most amount of light out of the day for good shots . . . Of course more than one event can be held before that date, but the 27th is our tentative plan. I thought that anybody could come when and where they want, but I'm thinking a Browns Yard-Lakewood Chase . . . :P

I have also passed the word around on Facebook and if/when we gain a sizable following on the event, I would elaborate where and when.

So you are contemplating an extended chase day rather than a single location event?

Well I feel that a single location event would be quite boring, as the train only runs once per day every 7 days, y'know. It is an idea but I thought that a chase would provide better action, shots, etc.

I spread the word around on Instagram, and most people in NJ said Yes, they would be interested if anything goes on. Harry, if this is a thing that will happen, anybody can choose what they want to do. David and I thought it would be a good idea to get the railfans from NJ to the Southern Secondary and let it be a fun event.
Thanks, Everybody!
