Confirmed, CSX 4412 shf & 9, approaching Maxwell Rd in Eatontown at 4:55 in the pm, appear to be all for Woodhaven.

Apparently this week Maxwell/Lewis St. crossing is "Broken" alongside with Hope Rd.
Crew had to flag it down

2798 and 4412 used to be out of Metuchen. I see they've moved over to Brown's yard.

CSX 4412 leading CSX 4429 + 19 this week, approaching Maxwell Rd in Eatontown at 4:50 in the pm. 17 for Woodhaven, and one tank, one gon for the Brick Recycling siding. Nice sized train once again......

Through connections, I have heard that the line is getting upgraded and is permanently (Hopefully) saved! Today was the deadline for the decision, and it is scheduled for a few ballast and tie trains to come down and re-do the line. Pretty good to hear!

I had heard that two separate NJ shortlines were inquiring about leasing/purchasing the line(s). I also, separately, heard that a former customer on the line wants to resume rail service (not sand). So perhaps something is in the works.
