I recall the sign sold for $560. Hate to imagine the costs of removing it, crating, and getting it out of South Station...

The boards were out of service on Wednesday due to a malfunction in one of the servers that locked out all clerks from posting tracks. It was repaired as of late afternoon Wednesday.

I was there Thursday, and both boards were off, with only a few things showing here and there. Do you think the removal of the sign(s) will be publicized?

I think people noticing the lack of signs will be publicity enough

I think if they start offering the smaller track signs the same way, they'll make a killing. I think if enough of us won them, we could show up with a good set of tools and dismantle them ourselves!

1- Scroll Up with your mouse
2- Look with both eyes to big picture taken today that clearly states the answer which is overly obvious

An employee newsletter from MBCR reports the board has been purchased by an artist in Miami. He plans to turn it into an art installation. Here is the site for the artist: http://www.sanchezcalderon.com/

Is there any word on what's going to happen to the mini Solari boards above the doors to each track at South Station. They're all just hanging there unused. I sure hope they eventually put those up for sale like they did with the big one, because one of those would actually be small enough to take home. :-D
