Update: the HU website has corrected the symbol of #8103's train from NS 287 to I87. The N&W unit was spotted in Binghamton about an hour ago.

The Illinois Terminal unit was spotted leading NS 23K in MA last night. Does anyone know if #1072 has gotten to the Tier yet?

According to Heritage Units' website, it's on train 532. Anyone know if it's going to be heading west on the Southern Tier line?

Thanks in advance,

Charlie

Today will feel like a blast from 15 years in the past- the Conrail unit is leading NS 37T this afternoon. Number 8098 was spotted in Conklin a short time ago.

The Conrail unit was spotted on the Tier in Alden this morning. Number 8098 was the 2nd unit of 3 on an eastbound freight. Although the HU website doesn't list the symbol, the train is probably NS 36T based on the time of day. There should be good opportunities to photograph #8098 on the approach to Gang Mills and Elmira this afternoon.

According to the heritage site the NS 8098 is third of three with a UP leader followed by an NS unit and then the 8098.
