2013 PCRRHS Convention - Rochester NY

I'm looking forward to the 2013 PCRRHS Convention in Rochester, NY next weekend! I'll be presenting at the convention, that should be worth the price of admission alone. :-)

Despatch Express, the 2013 PCRRHS Annual Convention will be held in Rochester, NY, on September 26-28, 2013. We have a full set of tours, slide shows, and other activities in store, so make plans now to join us! The convention hotel is the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Rochester, located at 1111 Jefferson Rd., Rochester, NY 14623. A block of rooms has been reserved for PCRRHS members through August 14, 2013, at a convention rate of $109 per night. Make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel by calling 585-475-1510. Be sure to mention our group code “PCR” in order to get our special room rate.

Tours will include:

Alstom signaling plant in Rochester, where state of the art railroad signaling systems are designed and manufactured.
Rochester Model Railway Club
Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum, home to a restored Penn Central N11E caboose!
Medina Railroad Museum, home to a pair of restored NYC E8 locomotives

In addition, slide shows and other PC-related presentations are scheduled for each evening, along with our annual business meeting on Friday morning and the convention banquet on Saturday evening.
