Too often, "great consist" posts, here and elsewhere, are consists that aren't that interesting. This isn't one of those times. C40-8W/MP15DC/SD50 (or SD60?)/RP20BD/SD70/GP38-2 (or is it a straight GP38?)
Fan of late and early Conrail... also transition-era PRR, 70s Santa Fe, BN and SP, 70s-80s eastern CN, pre-merger-era UP, heavy electric operations in general, dieselized narrow gauge, transition-era DB and DR, modern EFVM and Brazilian railroads in general... why bother trying to list them all?

Six locos. How long was the train?
Nonsense is nonsense, but the history of nonsense is a very important science.

The one with the blue CN leading was a yard transfer, the 6 from 3 railroads, only the first 3 were running. Here's another colorful consist I caught.
