Erie yard at Goshen, NY

Postby walterconklin » Tue Apr 26, 2011 12:31 pm

Hello,

Does anyone have a good track map or images of the Erie trackage that use to exist at Goshen, NY, and, if so, would you be willing to scan the map or images and email them to me?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Walter

Please find below some early work in progress shots of the virtual Erie at Goshen, NY.

It will be a while before the virtual Goshen gets populated with buildings, vegetation, and other scenery.

The screenshots are from the Tristate_Rails route for Microsoft Train Simulator.

Walter

The Goshen Station is brick, not wood as shown here.
...they are solid plastic, so don't settle for imitation.

Pretty sure he knows that- in another posting elsewhere on this topic, he stated that the shown station is only a preliminary place-holder.

Also- for Walter and anyone else interested- for Orange County NY at least, Beers' 1875 Atlas and Muller's 1903 Atlas are available here, in their entirety:

These atlases, among many many other historical maps...
