Postby Komachi » Sat Jan 10, 2009 3:53 pm

Hey guys,

I just received an e-mail the other day from the Milwaukee Road Archinves at the Milwaukee Public Library indicating that they are undergoing a re-organization and that any MILW-related inquiries should be directed to the Library at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Below is the info. provided in my e-mail.

"This is the email for Milwaukee Road Archives located within the Milwaukee Public Library. The Milwaukee Road Archives are currently under re-organization and we are unable to take inquiries by telephone, e-mail or correspondence. For any inquiries related to the Milwaukee Road, you may wish to try the library at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The contact information for the library is:

Reference Department
John W. Barriger III National Railroad Library
St. Louis Mercantile Library
University of Missouri-St. Louis
8001 Natural Bridge Road
St. Louis, MO 63121

(314) 516-7253

Please visit our website, http://www.mpl.org in January 2010 for information regarding the re-opening of the archives.

Thank you."

Just thought I'd pass that note along.
