The GE Heavy Haul Power locos have been around for more than six years now but are still not approved.

At You tube there ist severral vidos with GE testtrains.

Maybee GE have found out there ist no demand for diesels in Western Europe in the near future. Instead the manufacturers who can offer a duo-loco as Stadler now can have the market for diesels. A 9 MW duo-loco http://www.mainlinediesels.net/index.php?nav=1001149&lang=en
