Holiday Trolley

Postby thegivenup » Fri Jan 01, 2010 9:44 pm

I can recall seeing a trolley on the West Philly lines wrapped with Christmas lights. Apparently the motorman made a tradition of decorating his trolley with Christmas lights during the holiday. Did that happen this year or did that guy leave SEPTA?

Good evening. This is the train to the plane, please have all tickets and passes ready for inspection. Once again, this is SEPTA's train to the plane.

There were at least two (I'm told the Red Arrow folks joined the fun too), and for my money, the guys at Callowhill put on the best show. They even added background music.

Thanks for your efforts - it's great to see SEPTA get into the holiday spirit!

Thanks for the info, and thanks guys for the decoration. I apologize that I don't really ride the trollies, I just like watching them roll around.
