Your not comparing apples-apples.

Amtrak is a national railroad focused exclusively on heavy rail. SEPTA is primarily a bus & subway transit company. And SEPTA’s push-pulls make up a small fraction of the fleet for maintenance crews. I’m sure there will be a learning curve with the new SEPTA locos. Same as the AEM-7’s

904 out testing today, 903 projected to run out of Frazer starting Monday AM.
