NYCT eliminated the 1/9 skip-stop and converted all 9s to local 1 service, apparently due to overcrowding. All local service ensures maximum headways for each stop.
Since my friend continues to chain smoke nonstop, she is probably an Alco.

Bumping this thread because I read on another website:
Should the BSL be extended to the Navy yard, whether or not Amazon comes here, do you think it may go into South Jersey? If the lower level of Pattison is used, perhaps it would make tunneling easier?

PC...Or "PAT&Tison"...Just as adequate  (as coined by a fellow forum member)

McG: Let's see what the current pricetag will be for a Navy Yard one station BSL extension and
with the option of a tunnel under the Delaware to National Park,NJ. For a project such as this one
PA(and NJ) may need to fund it without hard to come by federal transport dollars from the current
administration. Could this take needed funding away from more urgent SEPTA transit projects?

On another thought: Would Amazon be willing to chip in to help get the Navy Yard BSL extension
built with the possible absence of any federal funding should they choose Philadelphia?
