the last batch of changes never made any sense with ridiculously poor service at manayunk. presumably there was some thought that there would be short turns to make up for it but SEPTA has neither the equipment nor the manpower to serve everyone that way. and we still have not seen half hourly off peak service as was mentioned a few years ago

That is obvioius considering there already is a perfectly good bridge being underutilized at that point.
A true Athearn was straight out of Compton.

Yes; this was a clear jab at SEPTA/DVRPC labeling a theoretically restored Ivy Ridge line as redundant even though ridership on the Reading alignment has more than doubled since the bridge closed.
