Bad News to Report on the F-M and ALCo Preservation Front

The Saint Louis Museum of Transportation very recently scrapped two locomotives in its collection, an H12-44 and an RS1:

I see they scrapped the #1844 FM H12-44. That was the sister unit to my #1845. Such a shame they had to do that.

sad but true.....youll see many more items getting cut up to make those asian cars we americans love to buy.

Sister to 1843 at RGVRRM, as well. Inquiries were made, but I guess the group in St. Louis had other plans...
