boarding on departure vision

Postby Steampowered » Fri May 12, 2017 11:08 am

I know in Trenton and New York Penn , they do boarding cycles, however how come the boarding cycles are not listed for places like Princeton junction which can take 5 minutes or more to complete ? Is this because only NY and Trenton are considered main stations . Train tend to arrive at there departure times at princeton junction and new brunswick .

Not sure what a "boarding cycle" is, but NYP and Trenton are both terminal stations

5 minutes at Princeton Jct? Do you mean for the shuttle? No way a corridor train is three for 5 minutes.

Yeah, 5 min would be a really long time to board. Even if they need to pull out the bridge plate it's not usually 5 minutes.

It's not regular service, but boarding took 5+ minutes on the weekends when Track 4 was OOS for wire work and the platform extensions were not in use. Everyone on the train had to walk to two cars and pass over a small wooden walkway.
