CLF to declare intent to sue Mass over transit projects

Postby Pete » Tue Jan 11, 2005 3:58 pm

The Conservation Law Foundation is holding a press conference tomorrow (Wednesday) ant 10:30am at its office at 62 Summer St, Downtown Crossing, at which it's going to declare its intent to sue the Commonwealth over the attempt to reneg on transit commitments (Green Line to Medford and Arborway, Red-Blue Connector, perhaps others), some of which are mandated by consent agreement to which the CLF is a party.

The notice of intent to sue means that beginning in 60 days, a lawsuit can be filed and go forward. The CLF may or may not actually sue at that point, but from now the clock is ticking.
