According to the T's website, the Attleboro Line is shut down (as of 2 PM). ANyone know what's going on down there?

Maybe they should just use empty trains without carrying passengers tu keep the tracks clear. Especially with the 01400 work car train, which is sometimes used with the snow-plow lead-trailer to remove snow from the trackage.

Hope MBTAF40PH2-C 1050 isn't standing trackside trying to get snow shots!

Yeah I saw that, and there's NO Mattapan Shuttle either, instead is buses.

Also, you're only seeing Amtrak Trains in the Attleboro line right now, don't know for certain, but I know that already MBCR has killed all Attleboro service for now.

The photographers on the Fitchburg Route must be a little bit tougher than most! :-D I saw a young couple at Ayer taking photos, a gentleman watching us smash through the snow in West Acton and another guy at Concord, oops the guy at Concord rushed to much and went head first into a snow bank, bbbrrr! :P

I'd like to see some photos of the great guys that are out there cleaning the switches and platforms or repairing the crossing gates, they did a great job today!

You should be able to get some nice shots on Sunday, isn't the sun going to be out? Have fun and enjoy, isn't it great seeing trains in the snow!

Sounds like on Monday, only the Lowell, Attleboro, and Worcester/Framingham lines will operate their normal schedule. On all others, the first train of the morning will run, then the Saturday schedule will go into effect.

Stoughton will run as a shuttle to Canton Jct.; all Attleboro trains will stop there to meet shuttles. Readville Shuttle (Fairmont) every hour.

This was on MBTA transit updates at 10:00 PM.

I figured that you wouldn't venture out there Matt :-D. It was a little too Much snow for you this time around........

But as Snoozer stated, there were some die-hard railfans on the Fitchburg run, must be brave to go out there to film......

Snoozer, i would have been out there, but i had to snowblow some additional driveways, so i was not.

I WILL however, be out tomorrow. Look for me anywhere from Fitchburg to the Willows.
Hoping for a rebirth of the Screamer fleet.
