Transfer at South Station

So if the silver line opens on time, can you transfer from the red line in south station or do you have to get a pass at dowtown first?

I think the question is "Will there be a direct, free transfer between the Silver and Red Lines at South Station?"

The answer is yes. The South Boston Silver Line, unlike the Washington Street Silver Line, will charge the $1.25 subway fare.
