MBTA GP 9 at Sherman Crossing (formelly "a question&quo

Saw the MBTA GP 9 (or 7?) head out West on Fitchburg Line today around 2:45pm at Sherman crossing in Cambridge. Any idea where it's going?

probabally going out to Fitchburg Yard. there is a lot of work going on there. Also, a train was on the layover tracks this weekend with a boxcar on it. This was the same boxcar that sat on the closest track, which hasen't been used for about 10 years. It is being reactivated to be the 5th layover track.
Hoping for a rebirth of the Screamer fleet.
