The Ride

Postby helium » Mon Nov 08, 2004 12:03 pm

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but it's not quite a bus, nor is it rail....

Last night (11/7) there was a The Ride van parked outside my house in Melrose for a good 40 minutes. The headlights were on as well, which was odd.
There aren't any people on the street that I would think would need the service, especially considering that it was around 11:00 pm.
It seemed someone else was curious, and called the police, as the van then drove about 8 houses down, and pulled over again.
I saw the police car arrive, and then leave, yet the van was still there.
Is there a reason that a Ride van would be idling in two different spaces that late at night in a residential area?

Mr. Helium,

I will relocate your post over to the bus thread, since "The Ride" is considered a bus in many cases, even with its chair coach van.
