Do we have both the 010 and 011 north? I never seem to remember which one I see.

I've seen both of them at different times from my office building in Weston. Most recently I've been seen 010. Saw that one last week.

010 is on the South Side, 011 is up North either in service or dead at BET. Winter seems to be a hard time of year for 011 since it constantly died like this last winter too.

The 010 is being sent North tomorrow morning in a one way equipment move from South to North via Worcester/Ayer.

And the 011 was out and operating tonight.

Did they repaint these in T colors? Because I'm sure I saw a loco marked 011 heading outbound here just before 2PM today, probably pulling train 423.

They were repainted in MBTA colors before they set foot on the property.

Coulda sworn I had seen it go by in silver and red. Maybe that was the third engine?

No both the 010 and 011 were repainted into MBTA colors before they arrived, the only silver and red engines on property now are the leased ex MARC units (none of them currently running now).

Got it, thanks. I guess I never saw the 010 or 011 go by prior to last week. Did like the look.

Perhaps one of them is getting ready to be mated to the R-Cars for the first revenue run? It would make a good photo op :)

Or maybe even double-end them for the ceremonial first run. It would sure be embarrassing if one failed and we had to get a T-Alert on it ;)
