you were on 433 tonight?? I was on 433 :-) yeah the stops were pretty bad lol

Actually, this is ot but incidentally I missed 431 because the green line took over 45 mins to get me from arlington to ns. that kind of s*** is why I don't like taking the green line every day :P

YES!!! I was in "cab car" 1513 (behind the engine) which was having wheel slide problems and I got off at Lincoln. I almost always ride right behind the engine on the way out.

The Wash Train is working Monday, either out the Fitchburg to S.Acton or to the
Gloucester Branch. Don't know which one first. It's a game time decision.

The wash train went at least as far as FItchburg yard Friday...I was on train 418(being pushed by 1012 :-D ), and we passed it at Fitchburg yard...loco was on the east end....We were running wrong main, and passed a empty coal train between Fitchburg yard and North Leominster....unsure if the wash train followed us or 420.

On a related note, i was also on the Fairmount line Friday, and we just about slid thru Morton St....Also, the loco(1137) was unusually sluggish. On top of that, the Southside was really messed up Friday due to AE2171 hitting someone in Mansfield.
Hoping for a rebirth of the Screamer fleet.

Wouldn't AE2171's hit only screw things up on the NEC not the Fairmount line?

1012 and 1137 are like polar opposites. Who is it that says the north side gets all the junk?

All the lines seem to be scattered with wet leaves, we could be seeing the rail washer for some time to come!

A delay on the NEC delays trains on all lines. 813/820 set was delayed and that set turns into another train when it gets to Boston, one large delay causes a ripple effect across the southside

No...equipment/crews will be out of place. I know of at least 2 Fairmount trains that were cancelled....

The screamers are about the only good thing on the Northside!

Northside was messed up too...435 wasn't called till 7:33! and the 7:30 Lowell train STILL had not been called at that time.

Seems like we are going off topic a bit?

On topic though, I spotted the South Side wash train at BET today, I think it was on the 'wheel' track.
