The Budds have not been scrapped. I saw them this afternoon.

The 511 is inside getting stripped down, and the 1525 and 1503 are outside waiting for their turn.

They were pushed into service for yesterday's rush hour after it was determined they'd hold up better than the rotems.

The 66 has been moved back outside with the other ex-MARCs.

The 1132 is also outside with the MARC units and has a lot of stuff missing. It will likely never run for the T again, as there are currently no plans to repair it.

A lot of the parts the 1132 is missing are unavailable so safe to say that it will become an organ donor!.

The 1132 has been a hanger queen for most of its life. Always was the joke it spent
more time out of service than in service. I don't have my files on hand, but I think
it went to Ossipee twice and two or three times to Altoona for various work over the
years.

We still got 66 on the property? I thought we sent that back awhile ago.

According to NETransit, the 1014 had a fatal main engine failure and is now listed as out of service.

Ouch, does that mean it will turn into a part donor like 1016 did?

This just came to mind-MBCR hasn't sent any F40PHM-2Cs or F40PH-2Cs out to the P&W for windshield & window frame replacement in quite a few months(I think the last one-1033-was sent out in late July or early August). Does anyone know what is going on with this?

Recognition that they're in a turmultuous time for power availability and that they wanna keep every loco they can in service until the HSPs show up? I don't know.. But with two screamers gone in as many weeks recently that definitely tightened the already thin margin quite a bit and would seem to be the strategy.
