Central Massachusetts Branch.

Postby braves » Tue Aug 14, 2018 11:55 am

Back in 1996/1997, the MBTA did a feasibility study on restoring the old Central Massachusetts Branch off the Fitchburg Line through Clinton & on to Worcester.

If anyone has a copy of this report, please post it up or just a map from that report.

This has been posted around here before. There is a thread somewhere. Unfortunately, railroad.net's search function sucks. http://www.mapc.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Central-Mass-Commuter-Rail-Feasibility-Study-1996.pdf Restoring the Central Mass Line provides an alternative to overloaded US-20

At first glance I thought BandA's link was to the previous discussion, my apologies! If someone can find that thread I'll merge them, in the mean time this one can remain open.
