Drawings of Boston Subway cars 1930-1960 era

Postby pbmass » Sat Nov 22, 2014 7:59 am

I want to do some 3d models of Boston Rapid Transit cars that ran in the 1930-1960 era. The three rapid transit lines are Cambridge-Dorchester (Red), East Boston (Blue) & Main Line (Orange). I have rudimentary drawings on Boston Elevated/MTA Red Line Cambridge #1, #2, #3, & #4 and MTA Main Line (#7) 0300's & (#11) 01100's. plus E Boston 1928 cars (EB #1, EB #2). These were mostly clearance drawings posted here by 3rdrail in 2008. Anyone out there have more detailed drawings? Any drawings on 1951 EB #3 - 0550's, Main line #9 & 10 - 0900's (only have end drawings-thanks Leo). Thanks for your help.

I have done drawings for some of the cars at Seashore that are better than the clearance outlines, but not down to the rivets. Tell me what you would like and I will send you pdfs. I have No. 4-5 CD; 3,10,11 El; 1-4 EBT. Email me @yahoo.com.

The next stop is Washington. Change for Forest Hills Trains on the Winter St. Platform, and Everett Trains on the Summer St. Platform. This is an Ashmont train, change for Braintree at Columbia.
