LED lighting retrofit on the Green Line?

Postby StefanW » Fri Apr 18, 2014 4:34 pm

I was just in the B end of Green Line car 3829 getting a suntan (not really) from the intense new lighting that has the distinct blueish hue of LEDs. It was a bit freaky to look down to the other end because by comparison the old flourescent lamps in the A end made everyone look a sickly yellow.

Does anyone know about a program to replace lamps on a large scale or is 3829 just a test?
The Blue Line is good for Lynn, and Lynn is good for the Blue Line.
