MBTA to Lexington?

Postby orangeline » Sat Apr 03, 2004 6:10 pm

During the week of Apr. 12 I'll be travelling to Lexington. Is there a rail route I can take from Logan Airport to Lexington (vicinity of Spring St & Hayden Ave)? Any help you can provide will be much appreciated!
"Welcome aboard Orange Line run 711. Travel time to downtown is 25 minutes. Next stop will be Pulaski."

Unfortunately, it isn't an easy trip. The MBTA website has a trip planner guide for you, to get to a more specific location, but if you use Lexington Center as destination, You go from the Airport Blue Line station, to Government Center and switch to the Green Line, go one stop INBOUND toward Park St, and switch to the Red Line toward Alewife. Alewife is the far end of the Red Line, on the Cambridge/Arlington line.

Upstairs at Alewife, you use Bus 62 / 76 (Bedford VA via Hanscom AFB). The schedule is available on the MBTA website for the bus service. Hope that helps a bit.
