most trains are still in the outlying points, heard that 802 made it to S. Attleboro before being told to bring psgr's back to Providence, and put train back into the yard. As of 25 min ago, 5 train sets were still in Pawtucket. No activity at Southampton either on both sides, Amtrak and MBTA

Amtrak is shut down to/from NY to Boston. If you live anywhere in Metropolitan Boston, stay in doors, lock your doors, and lock this creep out before he does any more harm, and keep yourself safe at the same time !

As of 12:30p all equipment has been put away. They have been shuffling some sets around to basically reset the operation.

Correction by GM Scott: In addition to Commuter Rail, there is NO ferry or The Ride service until Saturday morning.

Also, Copley to remain closed.

Needless to say, the 70, 70A, and 71 are suspended while this standoff proceeds.

A bus filled with police officers broke through a road block and officers surrounded the house on Franklin St.

Reminds me of that Motown hit "Nowhere to turn, nowhere to run". A very impressive display overall in very volatile circumstances. A shout out to the folks living in Watertown. Their staying in, then going out when directed, allowed for the police not go about this pursuit not having to worry about an easy hostage and the individual who called regarding blood on the boat should get a five star dinner at a Watertown restaurant ! When police and public work together, it is a beautiful thing !

I couldn't agree more Paul. That citizen that found him should get a police escourt for the year. Because he looked at his boat he made everyone's night much easier. Thanks to that citizen that saw him. Boston won tonight and we have a right to celebrate this.

Sad to know that the MIT officer was killed by these bombers. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family for their loss.

Hopefully the mbta officer fully recovers and is back on duty protecting the citizens who ride the T.
